Thanks. I agree her piece is good. But it isn't GREAT. It's more like an excerpt from a larger book. Wouldn't be surprised if she's writing a Memoir, and this is just a part of a chapter. It feels unfinished and rough. That's fine. Just don't think it's worth winning such a huge prize. And if Medium was trying to earn some respect from the literary establishment, they screwed up the chance by failing their members so blatantly here.
