Mormonism is Insane!

And if you agree, time to reassess your own faith

Mormonism is unquestionably one of the fastest growing religions on the planet today. According to some estimates, it will near 300 million followers by the year 2085. Currently, if their own statistics are to be believed, they have a membership of over 16 million loyalists worldwide, with their home state of Utah holding over 2 million of those. This growth is staggering for a church that started out with a mere few members in 1840.

The unique thing about the Mormon religion, is that everything about it has occurred within the era of documented history. Unlike other major religions such as modern Christianity or Islam, its past isn’t obscured by the passing of thousands of years, and the countless actions of powerful leaders helping to blur or disappear its corruptions into the background. Despite the Church of Latter-Day Saints best efforts, every dark secret of their past is easily researched. In this regard, the religion’s birth and growth into a mainstream brand of faith can and should be acknowledged as a template for how cults operate and take hold of the public interest.
