Social media advertisements have gotten ridiculous. Not only have the media giants been using cell phones to spy on us 24/7, so that they can use our topics of conversation to target us with intentional product recommendations, but for a while now they have been actively discriminating against an oddly specific category of the human race. I’m speaking of the men of the world who are currently unfortunate enough to be named ED.

I’ve recently noticed this highly disturbing trend, and quite frankly, I’m shocked that no one else has reported on it, or been offended by it. It seems every other time I log into my Facebook account, or hop onto Google and spend any amount of time searching for content, I’ll see an ad that treats men named ED like some kind of disease or condition to be overcome.

The ads speak as if people named ED are a blight on humanity, an embarrassment, an ugly little secret that needs to be swept under the rug and forgotten. They also act as if just the thought of a man named ED will put you off your appetite, or make you suddenly want to take a bath. As if men named ED are nothing but the lowest of the low. So low in fact, that you apparently need a pill to help you ignore…
