Jay Sizemore grew up in a small Kentucky town. Its one caution light blinked its yellow eyes over a tired intersection like an insomniac alcoholic with no one to talk to, all through the night. He learned to love to read at an early age, because imagination can take you anywhere. A love for reading naturally becomes a love for writing, because the human soul craves disappointment.
Jay Sizemore has been disappointing himself since the 90's, starting projects and never finishing them, like a true procrastination expert. He studied writing for a few years at Western Kentucky University, before also abandoning the project of getting his degree.
He's now happily married and living near Portland, Oregon with his wife and fur babies, where he lies awake and listens to it rain. Maybe someday he will finish writing that novel.
